Dark and White Prepare for Round 2 of the Cotswold DW4 Series
News Release / 04.05.2010

The four hour course for round 2 includes some cracking high level moorland mountain biking and trail running in spectacular wide open Northern Peak District countryside; in addition there will be some interesting and testing foot orienteering. The start/finish area is at the Moorland Discovery Centre near Hathersage in the Derbyshire Peak.
Dark & White have continued their penchant for providing controls in challenging and interesting locations to provide racers with lots of route choice, as it should be with this type of event! The course has been designed to be suitable for all abilities so you don’t need to be an expert mountain biker, trail runner to take part; enthusiasm, determination and a sense of adventure is what’s needed!
The event is open to solos and pairs of all levels of ability in a variety of categories. SPORTident electronic timing and scoring will be used giving competitors an instant print out of their results when they finish. The event will include extra ‘surprise challenge’ elements to keep competitors on their toes throughout!
Prizes for the 2010 DW4 Adventure Race series, which comprises 3 races, are supplied by Cotswold Outdoor, Skins & Buff; in addition there will be various spot prizes at each event.
