The people behind the SalaryShield® Challenge and the XTERRA East Championship are challenging participants to help feed the Richmond area’s hungry. The goal is to collect 2,010 pounds of food for the Central Virginia Food Bank. The SalaryShield® team will match every pound of food or each charitable dollar collected, up to 2,010 pounds (that’s 4,020 meals that could provide people in need this summer). Participants are encouraged to bring non-perishable food items (no glass) or cash contributions to the SalaryShield® pavilion at the XTERRA East Champion June 19 and 20 to help make a difference in the local community.
