The ‘Best’ just gets better

Terra Nova, manufacturer of superlight backpacking and mountaineering equipment have been refining their range of shelters, reducing weight and size where practical, adding space and features where possible, and generally producing an exciting range of outdoor shelters for the serious adventurer in 2011.

The shelters below range from the ultra, ultra light tarps, through the immanently practical single and double skinned personal shelters, to the fully-featured expedition and family tents – something for everyone planning to spend time in the great outdoors.

Terra Nova

Laser range:
• Lighter: at 500g the new Laser Ultra 1 is the lightest, double skin tent in the world and the new Laser Photon 2, a two person tent weighs in at a record beating incredible 880g
• Features: reduced packed length on the Laser range, ideal for packing into small rucksacks and panniers along with new multiple venting options.

Solar
• New: The Solar Photon 2, a 926g freestanding, two person tent with multiple venting systems to compliment the successful one person Solar tents.

Voyager
• New: Voyager 2.2, spacious and weather proof backpacking tent pushing three pole design into 4 season use but still only weighs an incredible 2.1kg. It offers generous sleeping area and two porches which offer a large amount of storage space.
• Updated: There is a major update on the classic Voyager, it is even lighter for 2011 weighing less than 2kg, offering more space and improved weather shedding profile.

Tarps
• New: two new sizes of tarp added to the exiting Tarp Shelter 1, using high technology fabrics and offering very low pack size and weight.1; 3m by 2.5m and 3m by 3m
