Glenwood Springs, A Great New Venue for Xstreams Race Circuit

Take the highlights of every adventure race and put them all into one race, and you would have the Glenwood Springs Adventure Xstream Race. This race has all the adventure you can imagine. Class III whitewater, Kayaking, Riverboarding, Caving, Rappelling, Trekking.... then soak it up in the Glenwood Hot Springs after the race.

Gravity Play Sports newest venue of the Adventure Xstreams Race Circuit is the Glenwood Springs Race set for Saturday, September 11th. This adventure race challenges racers to ditch the mundane, leave the pavement behind and get sweaty, dirty and have a blast. The out-of-the-ordinary 50 -mile course asks racers to hit the trails, scramble over rocks, rappel into a cave, kayak through rapids, and experience the outdoors like never before. Racers will mountain bike, kayak, trail run, rappel, trek through a cave, and navigate an optional river boarding section during the course. Glenwood Springs setting at the confluence of the Roaring Fork River and the Colorado River make us a natural fit for year-round fun. The town is best viewed from the Glenwood Caverns Adventure Park, at the top of the Iron Mountain Tram. From the fully enclosed gondola you can take in the views almost 50 miles to the south, over Glenwood Springs and the Roaring Fork Valley, past majestic Mt. Sopris, to the peaks in Aspen.
