Picture Power on SleepMonsters

We’ve recently upgraded the SleepMonsters online photo-sales system – which already has over 5000 race pictures to browse through. (SleepMonsters has more pictures than every other adventure racing website in the world combined!)

Adventure racing takes place in the wilds, with no fixed course, but at events where we have a photographer you can buy pictures of yourself racing on the hills, lakes and bridleways. And our photo-sales system is unique, allowing you to take advantage of the benefits of today’s digital photography revolution, and buy your picture as a digital file, then print it if you wish.

This means you can share the pictures with team mates, friends and relatives, print as many copies as you want, and use them as ‘wallpaper’ or on personal web pages. Ordering prints and waiting two weeks for them to arrive belongs to the last century!

Cheaper Prices

Our original service offered ‘instant digital’ pictures (for computer use only) with a ‘what you see is what you get’ service. This quick and easy service is still available, and the good news is we’ve dropped the prices, so you can now get a race picture for just £2.45.

However, we realised many people wanted album prints as well as digital copies so there are now two new options available.

Prints For Your Album

You can now order a ‘print’ file which is of a suitable quality for reprints up to 5x7 inches, and is emailed directly to you. You’ll be surprised at the size of the picture – it will fill a big computer screen and is perfect for use as a wallpaper background.

Just take it into any high street photo-processors (on CD, USB stick or a camera card of any kind) and they will produce a professional quality print. (From about 15p each for small prints.)

And if you want a really big picture – we can send you the original image which will produce prints up to 12x8 inches in size (at least). These can be emailed, but if you’ve not got Broadband CD delivery is available too.

There are already pictures from a dozen races available, and they will remain on the site for the rest of this year – so make sure to get yours before Christmas. Just go into the ‘Photos’ section and browse. There is a detailed F.A.Q. if you have any questions.
