Columbia presents 'Wintervention'

The Warren Miller's 61st nationwide ski and snowboard tour 2010/11 is the annual celebration of the arrival of the skiing season! A night including not only a feature-length HD big-screen extreme skiing and boarding visual feast, but also a goodie bag for every filmgoer and a prize draw drawn by a live compere every night.

Anyway for those of us who enjoy a bit of off-piste action, watching Warren Miller's 'Wintervention' reminds us why we go every year (oh, and why we all wish we'd started when we were twenty years younger, and lived somewhere snowy, and were alot better at it than we actually are!). The film is a tour de force of skiing and snowboarding on almost every continent; heli-skiing, back-country, free-styling and tricks. Following an eclectic bunch of snow addicted individuals in there need for 'one more run', stunning pictures abound and 'pounding' soundtrack to match.
