TrailPlus, organisers of HellRunner, the UK’s largest off-road running series, have announced that Brooks Sports will take over as the title sponsors for at least the next two years.

This comes hot on the heels of a very successful, inaugural Hell in the Middle that took place on Cannock Chase on 12th February with over 1700 finishers.

Brooks are one of the world’s leading specialist running shoes companies and who recently created significant media interest with the development of BioMoGo - the world’s first biodegradable midsole, designed to be biodegrade 50 times faster than conventional athletic shoe midsoles, making it one of the most significant sustainable technologies to hit the running footwear market.

The growth of HellRunner since its creation in 2004 will witness Saturday and Sunday runnings of Hell Up North in Delamere Forest in September in addition to Saturday and Sunday Hell Down South events in Novmber at Longmoor Camp, a regular adventure challenge venue for TrailPlus.

Commenting on the new partnership, TrailPlus’ Paul Magner said:

“The Brooks involvement will bring immediate benefits to all survivors with the provision of a high performance technical tee shirt and, for the first time, a special, crafted ‘Survivor of Hell’ medal.”

Full entry details and event information is available at www.hellrunner.co.uk.
