U.S. East Coast Race Coalition

Some of the best known races on the US East Coast have combined into a new series under the banner of the East Coast Adventure Racing Series to help promote the sport.<br />
<br />The Series consists of 5 race production companies working together to grow the sport of adventure racing in a positive direction. They are NYARA, GOALS, Odyssey, Rev3 & American Adventure Sports, LLC and in a combined statement they explained; <i>Our hope is to create synergy and positivity within our sport and to provide greater opportunities for our athletes and sponsors.<br />
<br />In only our first year as a coalition, the East Coast Adventure Racing Series (ECARS) has transformed into the premiere Regional Series in the United States. With more then $40,000.00 in gear for prizes, the ECARS cash and gear sponsorship exceeds that of any Adventure Racing Series in the Country! Gear has been provided for all 10 races, including the ECARS Championship Race. Individual race directors will determine which gear prizes go to which Categories/Divisions and ALL gear prizes will be awarded to competitors.<br />
<br /></i>The series includes both one and two day events and the first this year is the Rev3 Epic AR on April 16/17th in the Shenandoah River State Park.
