Media Release - Jack Pennington / 29.03.2011

What follows is a bit of an insight into the NT Race scene for the coming year but more info can be found on the Tour Nation Website <a href="#"onClick="javascript:newsitewindow('http://www.tournation.com.au')"class="main">here</a>.
All kinds of athletes and out door thrill seekers are turning to the Adventure Racing scene.
You don’t have to be an Ironman or Iron woman to do Adventure Racing. It’s about the enjoyment; fun teamwork and sense of achievement competitors get out of the race.
Combining heart pumping activities and intellectual teamwork, the sport has become the ultimate challenge for anyone who enjoys the outdoors.
With this competition show casing Australia, we have the Adventurers ultimate playground on our doorstep here in Darwin, Northern Territory. With National parks close by, including World Heritage listed National Park Kakadu, and Tarzan landscapes of Litchfield National Park.
Breathtaking monsoons with seasonal itineraries you can combine your race with visiting the world-class destinations that Australia has to offer.
