Preparing for the Mother Load Expedition Race

On Sept 8th somewhere in the mountains of Central California, the gun will go off signaling the start of the best and most economical 4 day expedition race of 2011, the Mother Lode presented by Tecnu Extreme.

Teams from all over the world have now figured out what teams like Nuun/SportsMulti, Tecnu Extreme, Dancing Pandas, Dirty Avacados, and more have known for more than ten years. Gold Rush adventure races is led by famed and grizzled veteran of all the Eco Challenges, Adrian “Ados” Crane, with course design by Dirty Avacados Mark Richardson and this 2nd edition of the Mother Lode Expedition race promises to be one of the best that the world will have to offer in 2011.

Spanning over 225 miles with the typical disciplines, the Gold Rush group will throw in epic terrain, mountainous trans Alp ranges through the Sierra’s, a 600 foot rapell, and jaw dropping beauty for all teams who dare take on this adventure. This will be one of those epic races where you will stop to enjoy the view because you worked so hard to get there. In the end, your team, if they finish, will cherish the reward of beating the Mother Lode.

After that, the registration goes up to $2245 which is about half the price of the other expedition races in North America this year.
