Gold Rush Mother Lode Race Joins World Series

Gold Rush Adventure Racing is pleased to announce our acceptance into a very elite group of events that serve as qualifiers for the Adventure Racing World Championship which will take place in Tasmania, Australia in November.

“We would be excited to have the Gold Rush Mother Lode join the Adventure Racing World Series in 2011″, said Craig Bycroft, Director of the ARWS. “The progress you have made is very exciting and says a lot for the passion your team has for adventure racing and being part of the AR World Series.”

The Mother Lode Expedition Race presented by Tecnu Extreme will happen Sept 8-11 in the Sierra Mountains of central California. Competing teams will be battling for a free entry to the Adventure Racing World Championship and 200 points in the Checkpoint Tracker Adventure Racing Series.

Teams from Finland, Canada and all over North America have already registered and with this new development it’s highley likely that many more will add Mother Lode to their 2011 schedules.

“We are thrilled to be accepted as the only ARWC qualifier in the United States in 2011″, said Adrian Crane, founder of Gold Rush Adventure Racing. “We can’t wait for teams to toe the line and experience the amazing journey we have planned for them.”
