Multisport Wales Kick off their season with the Swansea Burn

Be prepared to get some sand in your shoes during the run and this time you'll need to navigate your way around part of the mountain bike course. With two mountain biking phases during the event and some downhill fun (which can be avoided for those slightly less daring amongst us!), it's going to be one to remember .We will be providing all of the kayaks and equipment again this year so you just need to find a partner and get it in your diary.
Places are limited to 100 pairs so if you want to race get an entry in quickly.
<b>Double Sit-on-top kayaking</b>
It feels like the summer is here already so what better way than to take to the water for some safe, fun and energetic kayaking. Multisport Wales we offer a variety of programmes and you can chose from; an Introduction to double sit on top kayaking course run by a Certified BCU kayak instructor, a guided river or coastal trip or if you are planning some adventure races this year and need some practice in a double kayak then maybe a bareboat hire is up your street. Unlike solo paddling, tandem paddling adds a whole new dimension of complexity since timing is everything.
<b>Wellbeing & Fitness Assessments</b>
Understanding your potential could be the key to enjoying your sport and a healthy lifestyle and that's why we've developed the Wellbeng & Fitness Assessments. At the start of any training programme it is vital to measure your starting point so that during your programme you can monitor your trainings effectiveness.
The wellbeing part of the test will give you a full body composition analysis. It includes Body Fat %, Bone Density, Muscle Mass, Base Metabolic Rate, Blood Pressure & Heart Rate, Body Water % and much more. The fitness assessment will help you understand you cardiovascular potential. This includes an anaerobic threshold test, strength analysis as well as rate predictions for 5k, 10k, half marathons or marathons.
