<b>Run and Mountain Bike</b>
The Haglöfs Open5 Adventure Races will take place in different locations around the UK and the aim of these five hour races is to visit as many points (controls) as you can on the map, some controls can only be collected by mountain bike and others by foot. With the controls having differing values the key to the Haglöfs Open5 series lies in having a combination of both fitness and navigation skills.
It’s all not quite as easy as it sounds as you have to carefully plan your route, to ensure you maximise the number of controls you get whilst being careful not to be late back otherwise you get penalties!
The Haglöfs Open5 Adventure Race series is open to solos and pairs over the age of 18 wanting to take part from first timers to elite athletes. If it’s your first race why not pair up with a more experienced racer and give it a go!

Victor Haglöf started out selling his first rucksacks that he had sewn together to local farmers and foresters. At that time he did not imagine that Haglöfs would become the largest supplier of outdoor equipment in the Nordic region.
