Ultimate Indo Adventure Race - Postponed

It is with great regret that I need to advise all competitors, volunteers and interested groups that the Ultimate Indo Adventure Race event is now to be postponed to a date to be advised in 2013.
The main reason behind having to take this decision today is due to a number of logistical issues within Indonesia. Mainly concerning guarantees of domestic flights including transporting all the race gear and equipment. There were a few other local matters that were also causing us concern. The only way we could have been certain everything planned actually happened was to add another day at the either end of the event. This was just not possible.
On behalf of the organising committee I sincerely apologise for any inconvenience this may cause. This is a major disappointment for all of us, especially after a year of hard work. I also wish to advise that all competitors who have entered and paid will be receiving a full refund, including their non-refundable deposits.
I would like to thank everyone who entered, those that were volunteering and those that made many enquries. I can only hope that you might consider re-entering and joining us once these current issues are sorted out and we can reorganise a new date in 2013. I honestly believe that we have an amazing location and some great race planning in place and will continue to push ahead and make sure this event turns into reality.
