These are just a couple of the quotes from the racers of Expedition Idaho 2011, presented by Gramicci. In only its first year, ExpId was acclaimed one of the world's premier expedition length races in the world, with a unique format that was unanimously praised by every participant.

Congratulations to Team Thule, Team Seagate and Team Bones for their outstanding finishes in 2011, and we welcome the world to challenge them for the 2012 title!

Last year, we promised, and we quote:

You and your team will compete against a magnificent backdrop, where you can be a part of nature as well as just pass through it.”

500 miles - 7 days non-stop over and through some of the most rugged and scenic terrain on earth, starting and finishing in idyllic Kellogg, Idaho, about 35 miles east of Coeur d Alene, with a one-of-a-kind, best in the world finish awaiting you!

Our format guarantees that every team will cross the finish line during "prime time" in the midst of a major beer and blues festival to the cheers and standing ovations (not to mention the free beer!) of over 2000 appreciative fans!

As Mimi Guillaime, from Team Thule said, "This is the finish of my lifetime. This is the finish I will remember for my entire life!"

And brand new this year...

This year, we are also offering a unique event entitled "Adventure Idaho!" This awesome experience will allow a select few teams the chance to experience the best parts of the Expedition Idaho course as a "stage race," and every night as they arrive at our festive TA's we will have tents, hot meals and the "beverage" cart waiting for them!

Prize money...

As soon as we have 16 PAID teams, we will take a minimum of $10,000 USD and place it in a trust account to be divided between the top placing teams. After that, a percentage of every team's entry will be added to the prize pool. The winning team will also receive a FREE entry into ExpId 2013!
