The 2012 running of the Dodo Trail Race, Saturday July 21st will see the event run over three distinct distances. The 52km Extreme Dodo Trail is being re-designed to give visiting trailers a real experience of Mauritius – the peaks, the single-tracks and the phenomenal ascents – with a cumulated ascent totaling more than 3,500m, all through indigenous landscapes. The finish will be on the beach of a fantastic coral-sand coast in front of the beautiful La Pirogue Hotel.
With course ranging from a 10km Mini Dodo, a 27km Ti Dodo, through to the 52km Extreme Dodo Trail, the race offer competitors of any ability the opportunity to race on this amazing island destination.
