The Black Mountains 3 Day – 100 days and counting!

Taking place from 29^th June to 1^st July 2012, organiser Bearded Man promises to host yet another unmissable event in the formidable Black Mountains.

The 2012 route has been tweaked to include even more testing climbs, flowing singletrack and crazy, mind-blowing descents.

This year’s event will once again start with a short evening time trial at the Glanusk Estate on Friday 29^th June. Saturday will then see the riders head for the hills as the Black Mountains beckon for two days of epic, remote and truly thrilling riding.

Bearded Man is hugely appreciative of the ongoing support from some of the best known brands in the bike industry.  For 2012, riders will benefit from a colossal prize list from companies such as Torq, Singular, Gore Bike Wear, Novik Gloves, Strada Wheels, Saddle Skedaddle, Morvelo, Bike Parka and Loco Tuning.

With Tudor Brewery on site and sponsoring the beer (yes folks, you read that correctly…sponsored beer!) the fun and unforgettable atmosphere of the event will ensure that the tented village is a great place to wind down and recover after the days riding.

The weekend entry, which includes all riding, tented accommodation and food is £180 per rider. You can also bring along a non-riding companion to keep you company and enjoy the incomparable experience and camaraderie that only comes with stage events like the Black Mountains 3 Day.

ALSO NEW for 2012, Bearded Man have selected the Welsh Air Ambulance as their supported charity for the event.  This charity provides a service that saves lives – for this reason alone, it’s an amazing cause!
