Kinetica Nutrition Backs The Salomon Trail Team

The recently announced Salomon Trail Team have already made their mark in 2012, with Emma Clayton claiming fell records, Angela Mudge winning at will in the Scottish hills and the likes of Tom Owens excelling in Europe. At the Team Camp in early March the team spent time in North Wales for three days of team talks, kit fitting, training sessions and product briefings. Present at the camp were representatives from main sponsor Salomon and sports instrument partners Suunto and the athletes also took the opportunity to test new product from nutrition company Kinetica.

That relationship has this week become official, with the Team announcing Kinetica as their nutrition partner for 2012.

Kinetica was launched at the end of 2009 with a focus on education, quality and transparency in nutrition. The brand launched in the UK in 2011, having established a leading market share in Ireland. Owning the process of whey production and working closely with exclusive flavours has meant the brand is positioned at the forefront of second generation sports nutrition companies using natural flavours, 100% drug tested and expert driven. A host of partnerships with leading teams and associations such as Leicester Tigers, London Irish and Triathlon Ireland has helped establish these credentials.

The Team will use Kinetica gels, bars, protein recovery and electrolyte tablets for the 2012 season.
