The Sting in Stirling - All Adventure

The adidas TERREX Sting is a 5 day non stop adventure race, starting and finishing in Stirling.
This exciting race will test teams as they navigate their way round this dramatic 500km course taking in some of Stirling’s most spectacular scenery. Teams will be expecting to enjoy and endure fell running, mountain biking, canoeing, orienteering, and will encounter some surprises along the way.
With a beautiful landscape filled with mountains, hills, lochs and rivers, Stirling is a perfect destination for such an event. The race will take participants to all those hidden gems, it might even offer them a chance to marvel at the stunning views. Participants will be prepared for anything and everything.

36 teams mixed teams of four, with 7 teams competing from outside of the UK.

Not only is this a big event in its own right it is also the qualifier for the Adventure Racing (AR) World Series. This unites the best endurance athletes from around the globe.
