Rewoolution Raid summer 2012 : Garda Lake : Nago-Torbole

After the success of the first summer Raid, which took place in Bergamo on 21-22 July, Rewoolution Raid Summer moves to Nago-Torbole for the second and final appointment of the season. The event is scheduled for 22-23 September, in the area of Garda Trentino, which is synonymous of outdoor, active holidays and untouched natural wonders: an open-air gym where nature itself is the trainer.
Even for the Nago-Torbole Raid there are two different courses according to level of intensity. Each team, composed of three people, will face different orienteering-based disciplines: mountain biking, trail running and roping down; ‘Pro’ teams will also have to undertake an exciting kayak race. An adventure in discovery of local area, suitable for all outdoor sport lovers, both professional and amateur.
The Raid will start from the Colonia Pavese in Torbole, which will host the Race Office during the event. All teams have to spend the night at the base camp, the location of which will be revealed in the Raid’s official roadbook, which will be distributed during the pre-start Briefing.
The scores will be calculated based on the time taken and the tasks successfully completed. Not only will the performance of the individual athlete be put to the test, but also the qualities of the team as a whole, and their adaptability.
Rewoolution Raid Summer 2012 is giving away a coveted prize: a trip to New Zealand, which the teams can win by participating in both summer stages (Bergamo 21-22 July and Nago-Torbole 22-23 September). The team with the highest overall score, and one selected by luck, will depart, thanks to Rewoolution and ZQ, to New Zealand, to discover the land of Merino wool.
