ECCO INDOOR TRAIL 2013: experience and emotions - guaranteed

The ECCO INDOOR TRAIL will enter the next phase on this weekend. This is a unique concept worldwide, as the organizers from the PLAN B event company and the RUNNER’S WORLD bring the trailrunning with the 1,2 kilometers long route at the legendary event venue where nobody expects it, in the city.
The ca. 1,2 kilometers long round course promises great variety with permanently changing grounds and obstacles. Already at this year’s debut the route exceeded all expectations. The route planner Stephan Repke and the trail constructor Joscha Forstreuter are working eagerly on new plans and one thing is clear – the two visionaries have plenty of ideas. Apart of the popular obstacles from the first run like slime pits, small forests, snowfields and rubble fields some spectacular new obstacles are planned such as a mountain and a sand desert. The four provided halls offer certainly enough space for all that.
Between the races over different distances there is enough time to have a good romp at your heart’s content at the unbelievable obstacle course. Apart of a sprint competition over one round the participants can start in the race over a distance of 6 or 12 kilometers. But that’s not all. There will be also some side events such as the ECCO Family Race, the Kids Run and for the first time a relay.
The route is lined with a big running trade fair. In the time between the races sports-interested persons can not only learn more about the latest products but also try them out straightaway on the running route. For the first time RUNNER‘S WORLD will present the best trail products with a „Trail award“ at the ECCO INDOOR TRAIL 2013. The jury consisting of editors and running experts as well as all participants have the opportunity to try out and evaluate shoes, clothes and accessories as part of the program „Test on Trail“. Some great prizes can be won here. Spectators have a free access to the running fair and the runs!
