BIKE Four Peaks
Enduro-Challenge New Category at Protective BIKE Four Peaks
News Release / 20.03.2014

Munich, March 20, 2014 – This year's Protective BIKE Four Peaks not only comes up with a revised stage set-up and overall routing from Leogang to Kaprun in Austria but also with one additional category for the popular mountain bike stage race. From June 4 thru 7, 2014, each of the four stages will host an Enduro-Challenge.
Over the course of this special trail trial section (photo) each competitor of the field of 1,000 can showcase his technical riding skills and thus how the perfect line should look like.
Every participant can decide on his own if he wants to take up this special challenge or not. The Enduro-Challenge doesn't have any effect on the overall standings. However, Race Organiser will provide daily results. In addition, the overall Enduro-Challenge winner will be crowned in Kaprun, too.
The new category as a new element of the mountain bike stage race provides some additional excitement and fun factor for all participants while also putting forward another argument to secure one of the remaining entry spots for the 2014 Protective BIKE Four Peaks as soon as possible.
Registration is still open on www.online-registration.de.
About the Protective BIKE Four Peaks
After its successful debut in 2013, the Protective BIKE Four Peaks is an absolute red-letter day in every mountain biker's 2014 calendar. The four-day stage race for a maximum of 1,000 participants will take place in the most spectacular mountain bike areas of the Alps from June 4 thru 7, 2014.
In total, the routing consists of 274.94 km and 9,238 metres in elevation gain leading from Leogang via Lofer, Kirchberg and Neukirchen to Kaprun.
Besides entering the race as single starter, every racer can also register for a team of (at least) four mountain bikers.
