This year's race will be a concentrate of 20 years of the greatest adventure on Corsica Raid Territory.
Corsica is an island , so it will be natural that the start of 20 years of Corsica Raid begins by the sea ...
The city of Pietrosella, faithful to Corsica Raid, will once again be the Starting City stage. Convenient for many teams who come in advance with technical checks that will open on friday.
After the saturday morning for technical checks associated to the race briefing, start at 1.00pm for a first XXL prologue stage.
A mix of sea kayaking and mountain biking with an exclusive section of Corsica Raid : Sea Canyon ! Breathtaking views of the emerald sea and the mountains covered by snow that call us to the stage of the next day ! A fantastic apetizer !!
On sunday the race will start with 48 hours non-stop through the Corsica mountains. An anthology program : 200 kilometers of trek and mountain bike sections (less for the discoverers teams !). Three micro-regions to explore, two passages in high mountains and probably several passages in the snow. To enjoy the incredible views of a mountain in the sea, we couldn’t do any better !
In the morning of the second day, you will start with a canyon, magical reward ! And what canyon... it is part of the history of Corsica Raid because it is probably the most beautiful canyon of Corsica... this 48 hours will be completed by several MTB sections who alternate large trails and single tracks, just to relax a bit.
Tuesday morning, a major mountain biking section will start from the mountains to the sea, and you will reach an amazing wild white sand beach... The Corsica Raid will offers you a discovery of a very wild area of coastline...Imagine that dolphins will be with us that day... And to finish the day, a small coastering then a trail to the discovery of prehistoric heritage in the place where was born the Corsica Raid Aventure there 20 years old.
Wednesday morning and it’s(already) the last stage of Corsica Raid 2014 with a sea-mountain cocktail. First, MTB in the mountain through the pine forests and rocky picks. Trails to single tracks, sea views during the descent to the beach ! And Sea kayaking, because it’s at the sea, of course that will end 20 years of Corsica Raid, once again in a wonderful place !
