The $10,000 Salomon Adventure Challenge Season Kick-Off!

Frontier Adventure Racing’s newest national series, the Salomon Adventure Challenge, is fledgling no longer. In late 2000, Salomon Canada and FAR Inc. toyed with the idea of creating a new, Canada-wide opportunity for an even greater audience of outdoor enthusiasts to get a true taste of the spirit of adventure racing. The Salomon Adventure Challenge began to take form and after a few experimental events in 2001, this Series of 8-hour sprint-distance races began to take on a life of its own. By the end of 2003, the Salomon AC became the largest adventure racing series in Canada.

Now in the Series’ fifth season, FAR Inc. continues this momentum by making the summer kick-off event on Saturday, May 7th a must-do for anyone within a day’s (or two!) drive of Bon Echo Provincial Park in the heart of the Kawartha Highlands. Teams of all ability levels are eligible to take home a share of $10,000 worth of sponsored prizing and future Salomon AC and Raid the North race entries and discounts. A further incentive is the extremely cheap early-bird entry price of $295 (+GST) offered until March 26th.
