A Severe Winter Challenge at Raid Blanc

Last weekend saw the 2nd edition of " RaidBlanc", held in the Pyrenees. There were two intense days of competition where teams competed in several challenges in the snow clad ski resort which was the event base including special sporting events such as zip line, rappelling, building snow (Saturday) and archery (Sunday).

During RaidBlanc, participants had to overcome three stages with a total of 10 events, exceeding 35 km and 2,700 meters of ascent. The weather was tough, with temperatures that ranged between 0 and -10º and strong winds, creating a high wind chill factor.
Participating teams came from the Basque Country, Valencia, France and Catalonia and included the World Champion Adventure Racer, Albert Roca's team "Diedre Raid Adventure", with teammate Leslie Rekow. Both received a total score of 321 points, achieving the first position on mixed team category.

Besttrail is the company that organized the Raid Blanc, the only winter raid in Spain. The company are responsible for organizing  outdoor sports events outdoors and are committed to quality in various sports.
