Gary Joliffe/Endurancelife / 03.04.2005

Endurancelife, the south-west based endurance sports company, have come up with a unique endurance sports event which they say is designed to test the overall fitness and resilience of the complete multi-sport athlete.
Taking the 7x7x7 concept made famous by Sir Ranulph Fiennes and Dr Mike Stroud in completing 7 running marathons in 7 continents in 7 consecutive days, endurancelife have added a multi-sport twist in organising 7 marathons in 7 consecutive days in 7 different ways!
The event is based in Kingsbridge, South Devon making the most of the estuary waters, coastal paths and expanses of moorland. Competitors stay in endurancelife’s tented village and complete a different 26.2 mile (marathon) distance event each day for 7 consecutive days. The event begins on Saturday July 3rd and the itinerary is as follows:
Sat July 3rd – Day 1 - Coastal path, trail running marathon
Sun July 4th – Day 2 - Mountain biking marathon
