Trailplus are currently offering a rare opportunity to work in the field of adventure sports and event management.

Adventure racers are most likely to know Trailplus from their popular Sweatshop Series of one-day races, or the Salomon Fast and Light Adventure training weekends they organise. They also organised the highly successful Saab Salomon Hellrunner race last year, which was voted the \'Best new event in 2004\' by the readers of Runner\'s World Magazine. But the company is equally busy in other areas of adventure and sport.

The Trailplus \'running\' portfolio includes training weekends, residential camps for young athletes, a warm-weather training camp in the Algarve and hosted packages to the New York Marathon, and they also undertake event management and project work for corporate clients. Last summer they organised three successful ‘adventure triathlons’ which were recently shown on Channel 4 television.

It’s little surprise then that they are looking for ‘adventure associates’ to help with the expansion of the business. Commenting on their growth Director Paul Magner said: \"Whilst still a relatively young business we are growing all aspects of our activities and services. We are now in a position to search for one or two passionate, but business-minded, adventure specialists, who might be seeking a position in the world of adventure.\"

\"As well as driving our existing adventure portfolio of activities we are particularly excited about working with someone who has some development ideas of their own that can brought to fruition under the TrailPlus banner.\"

At present it’s not a full time role, most probably up to 30 days work a year, but the chance to be involved in new projects could see that extended. Magner continues; \"The potential rewards are far more than just the project fees and bonuses you will earn. Our plans for the future of the TrailPlus business may offer you a genuine route to a full time role within adventure! Indeed, you may already have some of your own ideas but need the business and organisational expertise we can offer.\"

They are looking for someone who has a passion for adventure sport, a good knowledge of suitable locations, in the South of England particularly, and strong organisational and customer relations abilities.

If you think you could be the right person Trailplus would like to hear from you and see your CV. More details on the position and contact details are can be found here.
