4 Awesome Adventures for 2016 From Ten Events

Ten Events Ltd., run by Nathan and Jodie Fa'avae have 4 events planned for the coming year, including a North Island Spring Challenge. Details of the events are as follows;

YEALANDS YAK
Saturday 27th February
Marlborough

Into it’s 3rd year, The YAK is a women’s walking & running team event on the impressive grounds of the Yealands Vineyard, a breath taking coastal site where seeing is believing, it really is an incredible location.

Teams of 2-8 women, in either walking or running teams, have 6-hours to complete as many laps as they can from the 8-trails around various highlights of the vineyard, the beach, the wetlands and lakes, music in the vines, and simply the great outdoors surrounded by grapes and greenery.

As you’d hope, there is a lot of wine involved! a gourmet meal and a fun social atmosphere.
Spring Challenge teams should note that a free entry into the 2016 Spring Challenge will be drawn at the YAK.

ABSOLUTE WILDERNESS ADVENTURE RACE
Friday 4th - Sunday 6th March
Hanmer Springs

Adventure Racing made easy! if you can ride a bike, you can adventure race … a little understanding of navigation will be handy too.

Rafting, mountain biking and hiking, teams of three people (male & mixed) can select from the 3, 6 and 12-hour courses. These are target winning times so the course remains open for 24-hours.

There is also a category for 4-person GODZone teams for 2016.

New for 2016 we’re launching a North Is edition of the successful South Island event. It’s really a trial year to test the waters and see if North Island women are as adventurous as South Islanders!

Please help us spread the word that the event is on, we’d love to see it grow and provide a quality adventure race for women in the North Island.
