Ryan Sandes To Run The Korea 50k

After spending the last week in China at the Salomon Running Camp, Ryan Sandes will be making his way home back to Cape Town via South Korea to run the Korea 50k trail race on Sunday 23 April 2017. The race was launched in May 2015 as the 1st non-stop ITRA authorized trail race in Korea, held in the capital city, Dongducheon, within an hour distance from Seoul.
"I am really looking forward to exploring a new place as I have never been to Korea before, and think this race will be great as part of my build up to Western States taking place in June, which is my focus race for the first half of 2017," says Ryan.
The race terrain is made up of 14% road, 21% tracks and 65% footpaths, with 3570m of climbing over the 59km course. Maximum altitude reached on the race is 759m and minimum 11m.
