Soggy Bottom Boys Racing (SBB Racing) is proud to announce the upcoming STORM the Eastern Shore Adventure Races Sat/Sun Oct 7-8th, 2017

We are excited to host the 1st USARA Regional Qualifier Race for the 2018 race season, just 3 short weeks following the 2017 USARA Nationals. Teams will be peaked for their strongest racing time of the year this fall, recovered from Nationals and "Ready-to-Race"!

We're offering two races, depending on your ability and experience: a Full Epic 26-30 hr Adventure Race and a slightly smaller 18-hr version. Both races will run simultaneously with the 18 hr folks starting approximately 8-9 hrs into the 26-30 hr race at a common TA and then all racers will complete the last 18 hrs together on the course. (Not ready for either of these? See the bottom for another way to still be part of the course.)

The 26-30 hr course will feature 3-4 different Trek-O courses, 3 different Paddle sections, 3-4 Mtn Bike-O sections, Single Track Time Trial, Double Track, Overnight Racing, Climbing Tower, Zip Line, Amazing Race type section, Hot snack at the night TAs, Homemade post-race meal, FREE post-race massage and more. ALL this in only 26-30 hrs, so you'll never be bored or sore from doing the same thing for hour after hour. The 18-hr folks will do most of these sections as well, just missing a few of the ones in the 1st part of the long race.

This race will feature top finisher awards, Lots of SWAG raffle, homemade post-race food, and FREE post-race massages. There will be FREE camping before and after the race for all racers included with your Entry Fee. Cabins are also available for rental in the park and a dozen hotels or more within 15 min or less of the Start/Finish location. Not ready to race here? In our final course tweaking designs this summer, we make lots of small changes based on actual testing of sections of the course, done in a race format. We need volunteers to meet at the race venue on certain weekends over the next 2 mo. and actually "DO" real parts of the course. Finally, & most importantly, we need qualified AR racers to help out as Volunteers on race day. You'll earn 100% FREE race entry for any of our 2018 races for volunteering at the STORM, plus many other benefits.
