Detail Events Takes on The Polaris Challenge

The Polaris Challenge is the world’s original mountain bike orienteering event and has been established for some fourteen years, running three times a year throughout the UK, as well as abroad with franchise operations in Australia, South Africa, France and Germany.
Detail Events is a professional events management company that operates throughout the UK and overseas, with administrative offices in London and Edinburgh. The company specialises in adventure sports event management and production.
Detail is best known for the creation of the Rat Race Urban Adventure Series and for other Adventure Racing heritage, but the guys behind the company know a thing or two about the Polaris Challenge already. Detail Events’ chief course designer Gary Tompsett, who will now become the Race Director of Polaris Challenge, has attended no less than 30 of the total 36 Polaris Challenge events that have ever been staged. And he’s won a few as well!
