Canadian Teams at the Beast

There are a few Canadian teams racing at Odyssey AR's Beast of the East this year. The race is out of Claytor Lake State Park in Virginia and the race starts on Sunday at 0000 (eg. Saturday night/Sunday morning).

Here are the CDN teams that I know about:

Team Simon River Sports - Clearly the team to beat. All Canadian teams will secretly help them with anything to ensure they're given the best opportunity to put a maple leaf team in first. After dominating RtN this year, they're well poised to capture the 2006 AR Worlds' berth.

Team Terranauts - They've done Appalachian Extreme twice and the Beast once in the past two years. They know how USA races are laid out and that should work to their advantage. Their amazing chemistry will surely fuel their way to a top finish.

Team adidas Canada - Our first long-distance race to a name. Leanne just won the all-women's Salomon AC Canadian title, Andrew nabbed 2nd in the all-male Salomon AC Canadian Champs, Jason came second at RtN Deerhurst, and I...well, I'm racing too.
