Teva Series,Race 2, Melbourne

2005 is shaping up to be a wet year for the Teva Series, as the outlook is for showers and thunder storms. After the downpour at the Brisbane event, organisers are feeling prepared. Everything has only just dried out from Sunday’s Brisbane event!!!!

Up the front of the field, the reigning mixed winners, Kev, Russell and Deb (Kev and Deb Piercy), will have their work cut out for them defending their title in the premier mixed category. There is no doubt team Checkpoint (Kim Willocks, David Provan and Josh Street) will be looking to go one better than their last years second placing. The other likely contender will be team Melbourne Adventure (Jarad Kohlar, Simon Knowles and Dethyl Lloyd). This team is made up of extremely strong adventure racers, however they have little experience at the Teva Adventure Series. Will this disadvantage them? We will find out on the day.
