Brindabella Challenge

A fast paced road race with plenty of exciting action and spectacle for both spectator and participant. A tight 800 m circuit will be starting and racing through Canberra’s CBD, Civic. There will be races for all standards with $3000 worth of prize money to be won.
2. Road Race – 3 Dec
A race that will take all levels of riders from the city out to the Brindabella Mountains and back to the picturesque evening finish in front of Old Parliament House. Starting at the Event Hub, there are two distance options of 70 km and 40 km with a total prize pool of $7000 to be won.
3. Tour of Tidbinbilla – 3 Dec
A choice of a 95 km or 115 km recreational ride south east into the scenic hill areas of the Cotter and Tidbinbilla. Both tours start and finish at the Event Hub, at Old Parliament House, and include lunch at the Tidbinbilla Tracking Station. The longer 115 km tour includes a circuit of the Tidbinbilla Nature Reserve.
