BAAR Brawl III Looking For Events

We're continually bemused by the popularity of the BAAR Brawl.  There is much to recommend against it: mountain lion confrontations, sucking mud, broken collarbones, chilling temperatures and a notoriously dismal completion percentage.  And that's just last year's iteration.
 
But popular it remains, and so we're please to announce that BAAR Brawl 3 - The Brawl Continues, will take place on February 4th, 2006.
 
A special note of appreciation goes out to Mike Murphy and the crew of Shooting Star Adventures.  An unintended collision of dates led to a flurry of conversation between the Brawl organizers and Mike, who moved heaven and earth to make Feb. 4 available for the Brawl.  In appreciation, we hope that everyone who has even thought about doing a Shooting Star race will visit his website, www.shootingstaradventures.com, and sign up for the great offerings they have.  Remember - the Brawl is no substitute for a real race, and without local events like Shooting Star, the Cal Eco Series and Explore California, we'd have no racing community at all.
