Urban Adventures’ 2006 Training, Education, and Race Series

Giving experienced racers as well as novices a chance to challenge themselves in a series of outdoor adventure races, Urban Adventures is preparing its 2006 Crown Lizard Adventure Series, an adventure racing series, for a February startup.

The Crown Lizard Adventure Series will take participants on races throughout Colorado and Utah, challenging their skills in mountain biking, running, climbing, rope work, as well as survival skills like orienteering and navigation.

“We have designed each race to challenge participants’ physical and mental toughness and continue challenging them the better they get,” says Billy Mattison, Crown Lizard’s Series Director and one of the top-ranked adventure racers in the world. “And the great thing about this type of test is that just about anybody can learn how to do it.”
