Red Yeti Midnight Assault

Angus Ross, Race Director / 20.02.2006
Due to the severe fires that swept through the Grampians National Park last month and devastated most of the park land, Red Yeti have had to change the location of the May Midnight Assault

Teams can once again be assured of a fabulous course and beautiful scenery to take your
mind off the hurt. Red Yeti will return to the Grampians National Park for future races in 2007 and hope for a speedy recovery for all in the area.

Teams will not have time to get to comfortable in any one discipline and will have to be on their toes, with the number of transitions that race organisers have planned. Strategy is taken to an entire new level with the midnight start and will force teams to work together right to the end of the race. It’s going to be all about the unbelievable paddling sections, untouched treks, and ever changing bike legs on this 150 km journey through the Discovery Coast.

Just get yourself to the event and let the Red Yeti crew supply the kayaks, roping equipment, support crew, and one amazing race. Registration closes April 28th. For all the updated info on Red Yeti events check out :Red Yeti .
