Six teams complete the full course at the 20th Czech Adventure Race

The last day of the race was finally the one without serious injuries or accidents. Teams were taking on the last bike-trek-canoe loop.
In the last bike section there were two via ferrata to complete. One ended with a rope tied from one rock tower to another and racers had to clip in with a carabiner and move hand over hand across the tyrolean traverse.
Some more teams struggled with hornets in different places, especially at night and had to decide: Either put up with hornets who attacked their flashlights or to switch them off – a difficult decision.
There was a time limit set for Friday midnight. Those who missed it skipped the last trekking and canoe stage and went straight to the last MTB loop to finish the race. Only 6 teams from the 14 made it in time (2 other teams finished the route with three team members.)
The winner of Czech Adventure Race 20th edition is Team Czech (Eva Švihovská, Jan Obuškevič, Ondřej Falta and Jan Císař) who spent 38.5 hours on the course – without any sleep. The last team with the full track Krušnohor (CZE) spent 20 hours more– their racing time is 58 hours.
