John might not have had the race the whole way, off the run he was around 7 mins down on the leaders, Jarod Kohlar and Jody Zerbst amongst them,
The end result being a Win by John, Jody 2nd and Jarod 3rd, with Chris Cook 4th, Matt Blundell 6th and fellow New South Welshman Mike Snell 9th.
