Iles Guadeloupe Adventure
France’s TSL Outdoor-La Clusaz take first place
Jacqueline Windh / 02.12.2007

Teams arrived at the beach, and watched as organizers taped empty water bottles together to make marker buoys. Teams were then randomly grouped into groups of five teams (so ten people) each, to compete in a relay: each competitor had to swim out about 10 m through the surf, then around the buoys (about 60 m), then run along the beach to a point where they had to put one hand on the ground and run ten circles with the and on the ground (“beach-spinning we’re all calling it!), then run back and hand the baton to the next member of the group.
“We had hardly competed in anything for two days, so were were all itching for competition. We are all such competitive people, says Rock and Rapid Adventure’s Simon. “You can set us the silliest event, and we will still do everything we can to try to win it.
I am sorry to have missed it, but SleepMonsters Eddie has promised to email me photos to post, so please check back in a couple of days for a photo gallery.
