Australia’s Keen Adventure Race is less than a month away.
Jacqueline Windh / 14.03.2008

The race starts on April 8th, with a short prologue that will take competitors between 1 and 3 hours to complete. Stages 2 and 4 are long one-day stages, that could take between 8 and 16 hours each, but Day 3 will be an overnight stage expected to take the fastest teams around 24 hours, and up to 40 hours for the back of the pack.
John Jacoby promises some stunning vistas in the high country – provided that the weather cooperates. “The course also has some unique twists to it with some great caving and some really challenging navigation sections, he notes. “It will be spectacular, with some real crux legs including one of the paddle legs, which could prove very interesting for all competitors.
The route will start in the high country, near the Victoria’s border with New South Wales, and will head southward, to finish on the coast at Lake’s Entrance, a few hours’ drive east of Melbourne.
