We finally got the route info that we’ve all been curious about for so long. The final numbers are:
Total distance: 233.6 km
Total elevation gain: 10,400 m (33,800’)
All over 6 days of racing.
The elevation gain is even more than I had expected. The organizers have provided us with a great mapbook - high-quality satellite images with each day’s route superimposed, as well as elevation profiles for each day - some of which are pretty scary-looking.
