The convoy will start rolling in from tomorrow, Geocentric have been busy putting the course out over the past few days and now its just a matter of the competitors putting what Geocentric think to be their best course yet to the test.
The weather in the last few days has eased, a welcome relief to Geocentric as 2 days ago some of the rivers couldn\'t be paddled, and that wasn\'t due to a lack of water. The local Bunnings will no doubt be getting a few teams in as they put the final touches to mandatory gear lists, by way of 2.4m lengths of pine, and if teams haven\'t got their 15 or 16\" tubes they best get them sorted tomorrow. We can only guess that these items togther with throw ropes will be used to possibly raft in the Barrington region.
The local Forster Beach Caravan Park certainly isn\'t the hive of activity yet, but that will change soon, some of the local eateries will beckon teams and crews alike, having been here for a couple of days now has given me the chance to check a couple out, OH the prawns at the local CO-OP just on the other side of the bridge are worth walking over for.
