Aussies to return Victorious

A breathtaking course set the scene for the first of what is sure to be many more Anaconda Adventure Races in Waihi over the weekend, and didn’t the Aussies shine dominating the event with Kim Beckinsale taking the crown in the womens from Kiwi Emma McCosh by nearly 20 mins in a time of 4hrs 40mins and 9 secs Julia Cree rounded out the 3.

In the mens event it was our own Sean O’Neill and Grant Suckling going 1-2, with Sean finishing less than 2 mins infront of Grant in a time of 3hrs 55mins and 20 secs.Congrats to 19yr old Sam Clark of Whakatane (thats Fokatarny to the aussies) who is going be a force to be reckoned with for sure who finished in 3rd only 4mins behind Grant.
