We have had to cancel the race due to safety concerns and predicted flooding. All teams are to proceed to the next TA where they will be met by their support crew. No teams are to continue.
Currently our SAR 4wds cannot get around the forests as they are consistently getting stuck on the slippery roads.
There has also been a Severe Weather Warning
for flash flooding issued for people in the Northern Tablelands, Northern Rivers and Mid North Coast forecast districts
Heavy rain is expected to develop by Monday afternoon which may lead to flash flooding in Northern Rivers and Mid North Coast forecast districts and in eastern parts of Northern Tablelands".
