Columbia Spot of Spain wins Costa Rica Adventure Race 2011

In an excellent closing to Thermocool Buff, world champion last year and which ranks second overall position, the Iberians were left as is testing and received the top prize ticket to the World Adventure on the island of Tasmania, in addition to $5000 and prizes from sponsors.
The organizer of this test Antonio de la Rosa confirmed that the official time of arrival of Columbia Spot team was at 9: 59 pm with a total time of 82 hours and 30 minutes, this by subtracting four hours waiting and rest overnight today.
The last part of the competition consisted of 27 km of mountain Bike from Playa Negra to Playa Gandoca then trekking for 12 miles to the Hotel Almendros y Corales Playa Manzanillo, where closed with a Canopy, then walked toward the official finish line.
The Columbia Spot team was delighted by the work together, also highlighted the natural beauty of Costa Rica and the organization of the event.
Other news of the day was the neutralization of competition from the third place, namely the following four teams were in the transition from Puerto Vargas and resume competition this Friday at 5 am. The reason was to avoid the kayak stage due to difficult sea conditions and darkness. Their times will be neutralized, they get their advantage that they reached that point.
This provides a great opportunity to live an intense struggle for third place between teams Gropo Orosi Costa Rica, Nissan Ecuador and Agricenter Caribe.
