Toyota Adventure Team First Costa Rican Team Across the Line

Just like the best 4x4, the Costa Rican Toyota Adventure Team, was able to keep the fourth place of the Costa Rica Adventure Race 2012, and thus become the best Costa Rican team of the competition.

The Toyota team –led by the captain Mélida Barbee, and composed of Eric Cano (Navigator), Danny Arguedas (Kayaker), and Andrés Rivera (MTB Expert), arrived in the province of Puntarenanas at 10:05 this Saturday, April 28^th surrounded by applauses and full excitement at the Puntarenas Pier.

“It was an extremely hard race, but we were able to overcome adversities and cross the finish line”, confirmed Mélida Berbee, captain of the Costa Rican team.

To close on a high note, Danny Arguedas received a cake from his sponsor, Toyota, to celebrate his birthday last Tuesday, April 24^th.

After Toyota, Agro Control is expected to be the next Costa Rican team to cross the finish line.

Today, at 5:30 p.m. at Ciudad Toyota (Toyota City) located in La Uruca, the closing activity for the Costa Rica Adventure Race 2012 will take place. There, participants will have the opportunity to share some time with mass media representatives.
