Teams arriving at Velenje

Thursday, 21.6.2012 ... most of the teams have already arrived in the campsite by the lake in Velenje. Others are expected today.
The first summer day has really come. Last couple of days have been really hot!!! Too hot!!! 34 degrees. Hopefully the teams will be able to fight the heat - together with everything else that is waiting them during the 440 km long track. Or lets' just hope the temperatures will really drop as the weather forecast says.
LIVE TRACKING
This year a live tracking of all teams will be possible with the help of Blackblox GPS tracking system.
ATMOSPHERE AMONG COMPETITORS
The atmosphere among competitors is great. Everybody is enthusiastic and can hardly wait till the Slovenian adventure race story begins again.
OPENING CEREMONY
At 4pm the opening ceremony will take place in the Velenje city centre (Hotel Paka) where all the teams will be introduced and a few words from the organizers (race director Peter Vrčkovnik) and honorary guests will be said. After lunch, teams will have some time left before they will be able to ask questions at the meeting with organizers later in the evening.
