Morning greeted the teams in a beautiful sunshine after long and dark kilometres on the road, which was probably going in funny directions in competitors’ heads. Lack of sleep can do wonders in people’s minds. The morning refreshment was introduced to the teams when they had to cross the Savinja river … on a rope … with the bike on them. Some took the opportunity and had a little swim. Then at full speed towards the finish line.
All the teams have crossed the finish line in great spirits with smiling faces. All happy to have made it, amazed by the sceneries, appreciating the work that has been done for them and taking home the most memorable experience of their lives… most promising to be back next year.
