What an awesomely WACKY WEEKEND at ARABELLA WINE ESTATE.
ARABELLA LIVE provided a weekend of camping, food, live music and of course loads of delicious Arabella Wine.
Mountain Runner Events staged four Merrell Wacky Wine Trail Runs over the course of the weekend. It started on Friday night with the 6km Twilight Run, followed by the 16km Trail Run and the 7km Vineyard Run on the Saturday (of which you could choose water or wine as your drink of choice) and the 7km Rally run on the Sunday.
Friday evening saw first male, Jacques Mouton and first lady, Helene Ferriera win the Twilight Run, and a further 177 runners Saturday morning at Arabella Wine Estate saw the staging of a 16km trail run into the surrounding hills and a 7km social Vineyard Run which took in two “wine” tables. A number getting into the spirit of the Wacky festival and dressing up.
